Hi, my name is Karen!

​

I am a devoted mom of three crazy, high-spirited children, I started my path in the healthcare field in 2011; late start, I know. I became certified as a medical device reprocessing technician and loved it. I spent 2 years as an MDR tech and decided I needed more.

​

In 2013, I began working towards a diploma in Practical Nursing from
St. Clair College; graduating in 2016 and beginning my career in pediatric care, where I spent 3 wonderful years. 

​

Mom life called me home at this point; but not unfortunately. This break lead me to furthering my education thereby becoming a foot care nurse in 2019; this allowed me to expand my knowledge and skills with special attention to diabetic foot care. 

​

With amazing mentors in the foot care industry, here I am today opening my own practice; Barefoot Kare. I look forward to this new journey by providing the highest level of personalized foot care in the Windsor Essex area.
